#NewMusicMondayz: 12/19/2016 – by Blair Cassuto
We’re back at it again with another amazing #NewMusicMondayz, and this week, we’re delivering the perfect playlist to end your 2016 right. In addition to new music from Gucci Mane and Drake, Chance the Rapper and Yo Gotti, we’re especially excited to premiere Uno the Activist’s new song “Left Hand” featuring MadeinTYO and Key! Uno is an up and coming artist out of Atlanta, who has been credited as the city’s “Next Big Thing” after releasing his song “Filling Me Up” on Soundcloud. In a little over a month, the song garnered 345,000+ plays, solidifying himself as a force to be reckoned with. Keep your eyes peeled for the A$AP-affiliated rapper by following him on The ‘Gram here.
Toronto based singer Ebhoni is another artist we have been keeping our eyes on. The sixteen year old singer/songwriter (yes, you read that correctly, this talented gal is only sixteen!), has shared a number of impressive tracks this year, but “Killing Roses” is definitely one of our favorites, which is why we made it our Hpnotiq Track of the Week. Incorporating dancehall influences, strong drums, and her soothing voice, it’s clear that her career is going to be a long and prosperous one if she continues on this track. Stay tuned for her upcoming music video for “Killing Roses” in mid-January, and her debut EP, No Lie, dropping in February.
Other notable mentions include Kid Cudi’s new song with Andre 3000, Ramriddlz, Chris Brown, and Troy Ave.
Sit back, relax, and press play. It’s #NewMusicMondayz.
